HANDS OF IX

Purpose Divine, By Design

Who We Are

  • Hands of IX is on a mission to equip families, educators, and generational cycle breakers with faith based support, advocacy tools, and healing resources so they can make empowered decisions, build a stronger future for ALL generations, and restore peace in their lives.

  • Hands of IX envisions a world where families feel supported, educators are restored, and generational cycles are broken across ALL generations through faith, advocacy, and healing.

  • Hands of IX was born through lived experience, obedience, and the conviction that healing is possible when truth is named and responsibility is embraced. This work exists because life, leadership, and faith revealed a hard truth: systems are not broken—they are doing exactly what they were designed to do. Change does not come from denying this reality. It comes from people willing to close the cracks before others fall through them.

At its core, Hands of IX is about prevention, not performance. We believe we must do more than respond to harm—we must intervene earlier by teaching teachers, partnering with parents, and equipping individuals and families with tools to break generational cycles. This work is rooted in identity, perspective, and responsibility, not reaction.

This mission is deeply personal. The loss of my student, Daylon Burnett, is a permanent part of my why. His life and legacy serve as a reminder that systems do not protect people—people protect people. His name anchors this work, not as a symbol of despair, but as a call to do better, earlier, and more faithfully.

Hands of IX also exists in honor of every student I had the privilege of serving during my years in my hometown. This work is not only for the students I’ve lost—whether to the grave or to the prison system—though their lives matter deeply and their absence is felt daily. It is also for the ones who lived on. The ones still chasing dreams. The ones still believing. The roses pushing through concrete, searching for fresh air. The young people who came from places others looked down on and chose to rise anyway.

This work is for those who beat the odds, and for those still fighting to. It is for the educators who poured in quietly, the parents who kept showing up, and the communities who carried both grief and hope at the same time.

Hands of IX is testimony driven and faith centered. We believe identity comes before outcome, and that healing is cultivated through perspective, boundaries, mindfulness, and obedience—not pressure or performance. And we state this plainly: this work cannot be done without our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is our foundation, our standard, and our source of restoration.

Hands of IX exists to close cracks, restore vision, and walk with those ready to choose healing over harm. This is work for cycle breakers, builders, educators, families, and believers who understand that nothing is wasted, perspective changes everything, and what we heal today shapes who comes after us.
